Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of Middle East Technical University in 1989.

Throughout her university years, she worked as a trainee architect for various projects and competitions in Dalokay Architectural Workshop alongside her renowned architect father, Vedat Dalokay.

After graduation, she worked as an assistant while continuing her education in the Department of Environmental Design and Interior Architecture of Bilkent University, Ankara.

She lived in Switzerland from 1991 to 1993 and worked for G. Favre Atelier d’Architecture, Ecublans and H. Schaffner + Cie SA ARCH Lausanne.

From 1995 onwards, she settled in Istanbul and continues her career since then in her own office, sdb architecture, undertaking many significant architectural and interior design projects with a scope of preparing the shop drawings to project management.

She currently designs mainly corporate banks, offices, multi purpose buildings and residential projects nationally and internationally.

She is a member of ISMD, Foundation of Architecture Turkey, and Chamber of Architecture.

She served as the Chairwoman of the IstanbulSMD (Istanbul Association of Architects in Private Practice) during the 2018-2021 period.
